About the Play

Young Audiences.  45-50 minutes.  1 male, 3 females; most likely high school or adult actors playing children.  Ideal for all ages, and potentially suitable for touring, as well as for sit-down children's theatre.  First performance:  $50 (this includes permission to make copies of the script as necessary for your production).  Each additional performance:  $35.  Professional rights should be negotiated directly with YouthPLAYS at info@youthplays.com.

Synopsis

Ivy is used to being the Queen of the Story Club.  Everyone agrees she’s the best storyteller – that’s why she gets to make up the stories and cast the parts.  But the Queen 's subjects are suddenly getting restless:  little brother Charlie won’t stop practicing karate, her friend Justine starts to get ideas of her own, and then a clever new neighbor arrives just in time to take over Fairy Land!
