Synopsis

Turtle Shell Productions (New York, NY).

As Abby and Lauren watch a meteor shower from their backyard, the two sisters can also see their mother sitting inside the kitchen. While the girls attempt to observe and record the number of shooting stars, their mother constantly interrupts them with cell phone "tweets," forcing them to respond to her problems. The annoying tweets cause the older sister to reveal to her younger sibling that their mother has broken up with her boyfriend. The girls begin questioning their uncertain future, speculating on what will happen to them and their divorced parents. Will they ever be a family again? As the girls confront the reality of their lives, they are brought closer together.
