Audrey Lang

Audrey Lang is a playwright, stage manager and theatre educator who was born and raised in New York City. Her full-length plays include You Have To Promise (Pride Plays, Bay Street Theater, Judith Royer Award Finalist), Birdie and Cait and the Book of Life (Jewish Plays Project), Lily Ineffable (Jewish Plays Project) and alex getting better (2022 U.K. Premiere, plus numerous productions at high schools, colleges and youth/community theatres around the U.S.). Favorite short works include who's mom and who's mama, Sierra Nevada (Theatre503's Rapid Write Responses) and Grow Old With Me (Theatre SilCo's New Dialogues). As a stage manager, Audrey has toured the U.S. with Jersey Boys and CoComelon Live! JJ's Journey. As an educator, she has taught bilingual theatre, playwriting, coding/robotics and Jewish culture/Hebrew to K-12 students. Audrey holds a B.A. in Theatre Studies from Ithaca College and is also a proud alumna of MCC Theater Youth Company's Playwriting Lab.
