Daniel A. Kelin, II

Daniel A. Kelin II is a theatre artist and film-maker dedicated to bringing underappreciated stories to light. He has directed, acted in and written plays performed in Asia, the Pacific and the US. As a playwright, his play Musical (Mis)Adventures of Goopy and Bagha was honored by an Arizona children's theatre and performed in India. Sing a Porpoise Home received a staged reading at NYU and won a New England Theatre Conference Aurand Harris Playwriting award. Donnie Q: Knight of the Third Grade won the Old Miner's Children's Playwriting Contest. other: a micro-story was a semi-finalist with the Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference and his latest play, Whorled Away, was included in a play development program in NYC in June 2025. His short, shadow puppet film After the Endling has been featured in eleven international film festivals as well as appearing on PBS. Other short puppet films have been shown in festivals in Germany, Uruguay, India, Turkey and Australia.
