Jonathan Price is the Senior Playwright-in-Residence at SkyPilot Theatre Company in Los Angeles. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts (with an emphasis in playwriting) and a BM in Composition from the University of Iowa, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television from USC. He directed the west coast premiere of Brett Neveu's Detective Partner Hero Villain and the world premiere of Samantha Macher's Reset. He is the composer and co-librettist (with Jeff Goode and Jan Michael Alejandro) of the award-winning opera Æsopera, the composer and co-lyricist (with Jeff Goode) of the family musical Rumpelstiltskin, and the composer of the scores to the films Girl Meets Boy, Rustin, and Cyber Wars.
