Synopsis

Inspired by a classic Filipino folktale and reimagined for modern audiences, this is the magical story of a girl who wants to get out of her boring village and visit the Sky. While foraging in the jungle for food, Apo encounters a friendly diwata —a spirit of nature—who grants her wish. In the Sky, she meets rhyming betel nuts and the Sun, who secretly yearns to be loved as a person, not venerated as a celestial being. Together, they realize that the most precious things in life are closer than we think.
