Synopsis
To wear, or not to wear? That is the question. He wore traditional clothing to school once, which went over well enough—even if people whispered about it in the hallways. But tonight's prom—and a Black boy pulling up with Kente Cloth, a Chain, and a Pearl Earring—might be a bridge too far. At least, Kente Cloth seems to think so. Meanwhile, Pearl sees an opportunity for her owner to be proud of his whole self—and Chain's just trying to have a good time. Can an accessory really make or break an outfit?
