Synopsis

When Spencer Wilson directs a student production of Macbeth, what could go wrong? Well, when your cast is made up of raw beginners conscripted from your English class, your faculty advisor is an intern with zero theatre knowledge, her mentor wants it all to end in disaster, and the drama teacher is outraged that Spencer is threatening her dominion over all things theatrical...everything could go wrong. And when Spencer accidentally triggers the Macbeth Curse and accidents start to happen, it's looking like double, double toil and trouble time. Is the Curse going to flatten everything and everyone in its path, or will it be all's well that ends well?

"It's a really fun and engaging play. A play within a play, all the drama of high school, and rapping witches—what's not to love? Our ensemble of high school actors had a tremendous amount of fun working on this show—and learned a few things about Macbeth in the process!" - Putnam Smith, Director

"It's fun, fast paced, and clever. Lots of great casting possibilities!" - Wendy Poole, Executive Director of The Theater Project
