Synopsis

Emily Byrd Starr is sent to live with her late mother's strict relatives after her father's death. At New Moon, Emily struggles to find love and identity under the watchful eye of stern Aunt Elizabeth, who does not want Emily to become the famous writer she promised her father she'd be. But with the help of a ragtag trio of new friends and a radiant gift she calls "the Flash," Emily discovers that if she’s true to herself, love will follow in this adaptation of Anne of Green Gables author L.M. Montgomery's most personal novel.
