Synopsis
Southern High's mascot has kicked up a cloud of controversy. For some students, "the Rebel" is a celebration of their storied history, but for others, the mascot is a celebration of a history of exclusion and violence. At a students-only assembly to decide whether the mascot should stay or go, words begin to fly like arrows, and when a classmate experiences a panic attack, they’re all forced to think more deeply about their school spirit and what it means to actually be in community.
