Synopsis

Adapted from the novel by L. Frank Baum, Queen Zixi of Ix has been critically acclaimed as “one of the best fairy tales ever written by anyone." Bored with their ceaseless dancing, the fairies create a magic cloak which will grant its wearer a single wish. At the same time, the King of Noland has died without an heir, and the law says that the new king shall be the forty-seventh person to enter the city gate that day. And on that day, a humble ferryman’s son, Bud, happens to be on his way to the city with his sister, Fluff…
