The author grants productions pre-approval to make cuts to meet time limits and community standards regarding profanity and obscenity for Texas UIL and other one-act competitions.
Synopsis
When the drama club's annual haunted house fundraiser tanks, it appears all is lost. Or it would be if the stage manager hadn't discovered an ancient copy of the Necronomicon buried in the department's props, deciphered parts of the text, unlocking secrets gone from this world for generations and, with an assist from his best friend, accidentally summoned a demon. With a little "help," their fortunes change overnight, and the haunted house becomes the success of a lifetime, but there's one big problem: the department is now stuck with a demon...a demon that has no intention of leaving!
