Synopsis
The Duke of Beloeil keeps a tight rein on his daughters, Raina and Lina, but each night the princesses slip away—and return with their slippers in tatters. The desperate Duke announces that he'll give half his lands and the hand of the daughter of their choice to whichever lad can discover where the mischievous pair go each night and what they do. Of course, those who fail forfeit their lands. As suitors falter left and right, could lowly but clever shepherd Michael—with an assist from a mysterious old crone—be the one to uncover the secret?
