Synopsis

Gabriel was told not to cross the brook to the other side, where howls of the unthinkable come in the dead of night. But a bright blue witching flower entices him, and now he's waking up in someone else's house, dimly remembering the warnings of his friar, his mother and his friend. Who is the woman in whose house he wakes? She says he belongs there, where the Dark Nightingale sings. Will he ever get home again, or is he home now forever?
