Synopsis

Discontented with a life spent chiseling rock, a humble stonecutter yearns for more. So when a benevolent guardian spirit offers to transform him into anyone—or anything—he desires, the stonecutter sets forth on a whirlwind journey through Japan. Will he be happier as an emperor? Or as the sun? Or perhaps a raincloud, the wind, even a towering mountain? Or will he find that all things have their purpose, and there's nothing quite like being yourself...?
