Comedy. 25-30 minutes. 2-4 females, 2 males (4-6 performers possible). Suitable for high school and older.
The White Pages premiered at The Attic Theatre Company (Los Angeles, CA).
When Robert brings three used classics to Book Traders Book Store to exchange, he thinks he's the victim of an unfortunate error: the pages of the book they've given him in return are blank. But when the "error" repeats itself, Robert realizes it's by design; they're removing the pages of classic books and replacing them with nothing but white pages. As his protests fall on deaf ears and a stream of satisfied and willfully oblivious customers come in to trade for more blank books, it's up to Robert to strike back on behalf of readers everywhere.
