Synopsis

Drake Prescott is a vampire. Or is he just a 14-year-old boy who watched his mother die in an auto accident? The grief and guilt of not being able to save her (or worse) have convinced him he's an undead monster who threatens everyone around him, and his father and his therapist's efforts seem to be failing. On top of that, the Agents of GEEK, a group of teen ghostbusters, are hot on his trail. Just as what's left of Drake's world appears to be crumbling, hope appears in the form of the odd but earnest Wysteria. Is she the guide he needs to return home from his trip down the rabbit hole?

"Dracula of Pennsylvania is both funny and poignant, witty but meaningful. Don's project to weave real-world teenage angst into a larger context for all audiences is masterful. This is a must-do for all high school, college, and community theatres looking for a way to provide both depth and entertainment to their audiences." - Jeremy Ribando, DMA, Chair, Division of Humanities, Fine & Performing Arts, Northwest Florida State College
