Synopsis
When Ryder moves to a new town and meets Charlotte, she finds the courage to tell her she's adopted—well, at least on her second try. Ryder's eventual candor pays off, and as we follow the girls from ages 9 to 15, a chance encounter at swim practice evolves into a true friendship. But when Charlotte moves away, even as the world changes for Ryder, she may discover that a good friend can still be there for you, even when they're not.
